Publication:
Asia-Pacific Design Yearbook 2024, Be selected The New Sp-Art Museum is a digital exhibition project launched in the context of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France and the Paris Olympics. Inspired by the relationship between art, culture, and sports, we hope to plan a digital interactive art exhibition full of sports. This project emphasizes the importance of the body as a connecting point between sports and art.

Tech: Interactive platform (UE5 Blueprint), Model design (Blender), Server (FastApi & Stablediffusion APl), lmage generation (Stablediffusion APl of openpose), Motion capture (Google Mediapipe).


Therefore, visually, we first summarize the 24 sports activities based on the movement itself, and extract the concept of frames to reflect art. The frames dynamically transform according to the icon characters to reflect movement. At the exhibition, we hope to mobilize the bodies of visitors and showcase the art of the body, so we collected two types of data: one is art works about sports, and the other is body data.

Our design for the exhibition experience process of the entire body part is as follows:

In this project, we used different data processing methods to form a three-step progression of interaction browsing creation, in order to achieve a dynamic digital exhibition experience. We attempted to integrate art cocreation and physical activity into the exhibition through some new media means, providing users with a fresh visual experience. Digital exhibition items can still be broken down into physical exhibition spaces, serving as a phased public activity or as an auxiliary to offline exhibitions, and leveraging the advantages of digitization. We hope to use dynamic data presentation to make every potential visitor move and enjoy the fun of sports and art collision.
